Frequently asked questions. We are happy to answer them all
Why do I first need to send photos and videos of my car problem to 24carfix before the service?
Sending photos and videos of the problem at the scene is a first step that benefits you. It lets our operations team analyze and assess the situation up front, so we can quote a price to a consistent standard and send a mechanic or slide-bed truck that suits the problem.
What standard does 24CARFIX use for its prices?
- A price the mechanic can work for and that is enough to make a living
- A fair travel fee to reach you, based on the market reference price
- A price based on how difficult the actual job is, referenced to the market price
I want to add work beyond what I told 24CARFIX
Work that is unrelated to the original job agreed in the quotation, but that you ask the mechanic to do in addition to the quotation. A 24CARFIX mechanic cannot carry out the extra work until our operations team has confirmed it.
What if a hired vehicle breaks down while serving a customer?
We tell the customer about the problem and how we will solve it, so the customer feels at ease, and we immediately send a nearby vehicle to take over.
What if we cannot pick up the customer's car and the Call Center does not call to tell them?
- We offer the customer a 5% discount Gift Voucher and immediately send a nearby vehicle to take over.
- The vehicle that failed to do its duty and caused damage to the company will immediately lose the right to take 24Carfix jobs for 3 months. If it happens again, it will be suspended permanently.
